The 2024 NBA draft lottery is less than two weeks away on May 12, which means the Oklahoma City Thunder will soon learn where their top-four protected first-round pick via the Houston Rockets will land.

Odds are, the pick will be at the No. 12 spot with an 86.1% chance of it landing there. The next-highest percentage is at the No. 13 spot at 6.7%. There’s a 7.2% chance of it being a top-four pick, which means the Rockets would keep their selection.

The Thunder received the protected pick from the 2019 trade that sent Russell Westbrook to Houston and landed Chris Paul in OKC. Both players only stayed at their respective spots for one season for various reasons.

If the pick stays at 12, the Thunder will have a lottery pick for the fourth straight year. Let’s look at the latest versions of various mock drafts to see who OKC adds to its top-seed roster in the 2024 NBA draft on June 26.
